The things I bought were very cheap
Yesterday was my first time visiting this particular Goodwill store. I'm an avid thrift shopper and was excited to check out the Loudon location. The store itself was neat but the woman who was working yesterday afternoon around 3pm, November 14, 2016. She was not insight when I went to the checkout counter, but there was a cute bell there with a pink top and a sign to ring for service, reasonable enough so I rang the bell one time..... about 3 minutes passed with no attendant in sight, so I rang the bell one time again, about a minute later I saw the woman coming and smiled when I saw her but she did not appear happy to see me at all. I had a wall clock in hand to purchase for $4.99 and a winter hat with no tag. I asked the woman if I could bring the clock back if it did not work, it didn't have a sticker on it that said tested like I've seen on many items at other locations; her response was curt, "NO, because it doesn't plug into the wall." All of the other Goodwill Stores I have shopped at have a 3 day return policy for a store credit which would have been fine with me, but that was not something that the attendant offered. I found she was less than helpful nor was she even remotely pleasant. I ended up leaving my items at the counter without finishing my purchase because of her gruff manner. Service with a smile does not cost anything, but it sure increases the store's bottom line. The Manager of this location may want to do some training for the staff on customer service.
I really liked thew store and the stuff in the store just not the employees!
The people here are very friendly. The store doesn't smell like most goodwills. Most have a musty smell but this one doesn't. They have great stuff for Cheap. They only put out the best stuff for their customers. If you haven't already, stop by and check it out for yourself.
This store is very large very clean very well organized in his got the very best staff! Love to shop here!!
